SAMBAHAYAN: Fundraising for the new Sanctuary Space (rented) of Open Table MCC
We are Open Table Metropolitan Community Church – a small LGBT affirming and progressive Church community in the Philippines and we are now looking to move to a more stable space or facility (rented) in Mandaluyong City, at the heart of Metro Manila to serve with greater accessibility and wider outreach.
Currently Open Table MCC is renting a limited space in the Café Oikomene in the National Council of Church in the Philippines. We are able to utilize the space only on Sundays and the facility is not fully conducive or ideal for the wider ministry program and outreach of Open Table MCC, and for the community to overcome its transitional or interim phase.
Open Table Metropolitan Community Church is taking its next steps in its transitional or interim phase towards greater stability by moving to a new sanctuary-sanctuary home. As such the Church congregation wish to do a fund-raising campaign to make this possible:
Even before launching this fund raising project, we have already received a funding of $400.00 or 20,000 pesos. We are greatly thankful for this expression of love and support for Open Table MCC.
Fund raising for What:
Funds for new space to be rented and turned into a small Sanctuary
3000.00 USD (with add 300USD of Website fees) in two main phases.
August to December2018: 50% by 1st week of October – Completed by 2nd week of December 2018
We prefer that you channel your generous love through Paypal of this Funding Website. But please take into account that paypal and the website will charge $6.00 per transaction ($1.00 for the website and $5.00 for paypal)
Or by sending it through our Local Bank Account:
China Bank Account
Account Name: Metropolitan Community Church Quezon City Inc
Account No.: 240-000943-4
SWIFT CODE: CHB-KPH-MM
If you send us directly through our bank account we request that you send us a copy of the deposit receipt or completed transaction receipt as proof of donation so that we can also account properly.
We would wish to ask that you DO NOT use the website’s own payment system as this would charge and deduct 20% of your donation and 50 days before donated funds can be accessed. Please use the paypal route or preferably direct it to our bank account.
You may ask why then on this funding site we are asking a total of $3,300.00USD. The additional $300.00 factors the fees and charges of the funding site. The side charges about 20% of the total amount being raised.
Funds received from the paypal of this funding account will be directed and received in our official Church bank account. It will be monitored and accounted by our Administrator Jack Nicklause Quimpo and Finance officer, Sean Malang. The Online campaign is managed by Christopher Celeste, our volunteer Social Media Content person and by Pastor Joseph San Jose.
All expenses and financial reports will be made available and accessible to the Church community and to all donors/sponsors.
OUR STORY AND WHO WE ARE:

You can check out who we are and the things we have been doing as a progressive Church community through our online platforms:
