Our Team simply wants to "salute" military veterans.

Our idea is to produce two distinct plays that bring issues some veterans face everyday: where to get help; how to find people who care; how to live with the memories service in turbulent times bring.

The two plays were both written by award-winning playwright, community activist and USMC Viet Nam era veteran, Melvin Ishmael Johnson. His plays--"Nobody Told Me" has been featured throughout the Los Angeles region, most recently at a Short Play Festival in Hollywood. With team-member, Judith Bowman, Melvin's play--"The 101 Club has been read on the USC campus (2014?) and at the Patio in the John Anson Ford outside auditorium in 2015(?). Both plays have been revised, just slightly, and are designed to complement an eclectic program @ the Afro/Am Museum of Beginnings in Pomona CA on Saturday September 3, 2018.

Funds will support an art-show, featuring art created by veterans. Letters, essays, and short stories wil be welcomed and published in the event Souvenir Program.

We need your support. "Cash" donations will make our tasks easier. Volunteer hours will add icing to the plans. There are Perks for each donation. Jump in, donate a dollar or an hour. We appreciate your passion and can't wait to add you to the Team!
