Salt and Light: Pledges for Len's Road to Wellness

Emiline Ciceron Sol Cruz was first admitted and treated in the hospital last March due to Anemia. Aside from blood transfusion, Len (as what we call her) underwent series of test until it found out that she has a tumor on her colon.

Last April, colon resection surgery was done to remove the tumor and the specimen was sent to the laboratory for biopsy. After 9 days of staying in the hospital, she was allowed to go home.

When we thought that everything went well, the problem on her intestine continued as she cannot urinate, no bowel movement or even pass gas. She was again hospitalized after 2 days. To deal with the problem, series of laboratory tests were conducted, as well as third CT scan and another series of abdominal ultra sounds and colonoscopy to rule out a possible Ileus.

However, the test results suggest that the resectioned colon narrowed causing the colon not to move bowel. With that, the doctors are looking for possible alternative including colostomy or another corrective surgery.

The biopsy confirmed that she has colon cancer, stage 3.

An amount of money will be needed for her continuous treatment as well as her chemotherapy.

Len is 41 years old, a wife and a mother to her 9-year old son.

As Len and her family face this battle, we would like to ask for prayers for her complete healing.
