Campaign Story
I am Salbiah Binti Yahya, I have four children. My first child, Siti Sumayyah aged 8 years was diagnosed with Autism in Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). ADHD is a mental disorder of the neurodevelopmental type. It is characterized by difficulty paying attention, excessive activity, and behaviour without regards to consequences which is not appropriate for a person's age. There are also often problems with regulation of emotions. She like drawing. Her artwork using Microsoft paint. My second children (Mashyithoh) age 6 years old, third (Asiah) age 3 years old and fourth (Uwais) age 1 year old is normal. I was a full-time housewife and not work because I want to concentrate to keep an eye on my autistic child. It was hectic, fully stress and exhausted but i enjoy it. My husband worked as a clerk and only get salary USD 300 per month.I'm renting existing home a USD 100 per month. We can’t afford to buy a house because my husband's salary less and cannot get bank loan (mortgage) because of credit score today would not allow him to obtain and qualify a mortgage. With the help of this funding we hope we can own a low-cost house because our existing rental house will be auctioned by the bank soon. I also want to make a mini studio and buy a video equipment such as camera, photo studio soft light box, etc. For shooting a video blog about autism awareness and other topics related and upload to Facebook, YouTube and blog as well as accommodating learning our autism child (sumayyah) therapy and her medical cost. Raising $20,000 will mean that your generosity and sincerity have given my children’s future insecure, and we can afford for a home.
