Hi everyone! I'm Sagar Pawaskar, a a self employed professional. Though a computer science graduate, I believe in doing things that can contribute to society and the world. Kind of too much compassionate and sensitive to others feelings, and so I like helping those who really need help.
My campaign is to help educate kids, protect child rights and personally train underaged kids who work. There are lot of people in India who don't get proper education at the right age eventually being forced to take up smaller jobs which don't even yield a days food. The world is becoming richer, but lot of people in India can't even afford one time food.
How can we get sleep when there are millions who don't even have a roof for shelter, food to eat, education to work and secure their life? I just want to take a step ahead and help them.
I'm starting a t-shirt company which will have unique social messages, spread across various categories. 50% of the profits generated by selling t-shirts will be used to fulfil the dreams of these people, remaining money will be utilized to grow the company and make it more independent from other sources of money.
By contributing to my campaign, you will help these kids get proper education, daily bread, a roof for shelter and many more things they haven't seen yet. I have personally seen kids eating just wheat flour for lunch and dinner. Can we eat that or even think of eating? However, we can do something about it. My t-shirts will also be used to spread messages across the globe to be compassionate. We won't lose anything by helping these kids, neither will be become poor by doing our bit.
I'm sure you will contribute something to my campaign, and show your interest in helping these kids get their education and a life worth living. And that's why my t-shirts will be named Life-Tees to make these kids lead a fair life.
What I Need
I need a funding of $2500 to start this campaign. The funding will be used to get necessary equipments to design t-shirts, blank t-shirts, emulsions, silk screen printing equipment, flash dryers, screens and other miscellaneous equipments. The amount is less as compared to the scale of this campaign. But everything starts with the first step.
I have planned to sell the t-shirts online by creating my own website, I can save money my designing the website myself, and use that money to design more t-shirts.
Even if my campaign doen't reach its entire funding goal, I'll still be able to start this campaign with the accumulated funds, but the designed t-shirts will be less initially.
The Impact
Wouldn't you get a nice and relaxed sleep when you know that your contributions have helped poor kids get their food and education? Would you not feel good to see underaged working kids going to school?
I have done this before, but not on a big scale. Now I have decided, One Life - One Passion and that's how I'm going to achieve my goals.
