Safety Patrol Student Washington DC Trip

Elizabeth has been selected and approved for Safety Patrol at her School.  The School has contacted me to approve her going on the Washington DC Trip and although I was hesitant & back and forth with my answer, ultimately I decided to allow Elizabeth to go.  This is a once in a life time opportunity for Elizabeth that her teacher's and Safety Patol Leaders have strongly convinced me that by allowing her to go, she will have a highly valuable learning experience that she so deserves, they stated.

However, I am disabled single mom with sole custody & limited income.  The school mandates that I pay for the trip upfront.  Without child support being enforced by court order, this is a challenge for me to do, to say the least.  My eldest daughter was going to contribute financially but recently lost her job.  She is a minor as well.  We thought that the volunteering and fundraising would accumulate toward cost's for her trip.  It seems that the money being collected is going to the school fund itself.  Rather than make an issue or retrack my decision to go and lose my non-refundable deposit of $125 dollars that I had to borrow from a lender, I was able to find this website to utilize as a last ditch effort to make this work for Elizabeth to go.  

I am swallowing my pride and ever so humble to submit this request for donation(s) to fund her expenses for the trip.  Elizabeth is a good girl & has perfect attendance thus far at school this year and has a goal to end the year with no missed days!  She even had a partial perm front tooth broken from a bicycle accident which was repaired after school recently along with a root canal and still did her homework & went to school the next day! She want's to be a Police Officer or Judicial Judge when she grows up!  I am proud to be her Mom & wish that I could provide all of the expenses myself for this trip.  It is what it is, and I wouldn't ask anything for myself, but this is for my child.  Your donation(s) are greatly appreciated and Thank you seems hardly enough to say to express my gratitude!  Please help out for this great kid for this great cause if you are able to do so.  I have to come up with approx $300 more upfront by Dec 2nd, 2012. There is a payment schedule to follow that has to be paid for upfront that estimated around $805.  In addition to that she will need daily expenses while there, clothes, shoes, luggage, disposal cameras, etc..  I won't be able to without your help!  The trip is actually scheduled for May 7, 8, & 9th, 2014.  She will get to go to the White House too!!  Many other places such as all the memorials, monuments, historical museums, congress, leg branches, and so much more!  She is VERY excited and we will promise to make available any other needed info for you and post picture's of her trip to share with you so that you may see where your money went!  Thank you from the bottom of my heart in advance!  God Bless you!  :)
