About us
Anew Life came into being in 2011 after going to Liberia and Nigeria and seeing the need among vulnerable people. God called me to this work and we have vision to set up food banks, education projects, Youth Activities to promote talents, work with the widows and a shelter for women, who have been on the streets and subjected to domestic violence. Even before this we have made regular ministry trips, combining the gospel and social action projects to help relieve poverty. The basis of our work is our conscience to do well and give hope to the dying
Our Vision
In 2008 we visited Liberia where we fed over 3000 widows in a 3 days conference on loving again and restoring your relationship to men. This was one of my greatest challenges in life.
In 2009 we worked with 250 widows helping them back to work by providing farm work and tailoring opportunities. They are now able to take care of their own families. We also gave food supplies to an orphanage in rural areas.
In 2010 in a place called Udi in Enugu State, I worked with the widows and abused girls regain their self-esteem from abuse. Again over 100 bags of rice were given to the widows and women in homes to support them via the foodbank.
2011 We planted cassava plants for widows to harvest to make money after hosting a seminar on living a new life with the hope of freedom from abusive husbands and society
2013 We succeeded in helping young teenagers from the street back to their families and some to a secure, safe girl’s home in Lagos and Port Harcourt
2014: Carried out research why young children are sex objects to older men
2015 April and September we touched the lives of 500 Women with food supply and Vitamins. We also visited the street at night to talk to young prostitute why they are on the street. The outcome of that research was heart breaking. None of the team could say a word for 5 minutes when we got back into the car. Everyone eyes filled with tears.
Our findings: Poverty, No Job, No money to pay for education.
The next stage is to build a shelter home where we can bring the young prostitutes who have left the street and give them education, skills acquisition program, health check, back to work training and counselling. We cannot build the home ourselves. The Land is available now and we believe we can complete the Anewlife Shelter home before the summer if we get your support. Our urgent need now is to rent a place for women of domestic violence before we hear of another death, and a place for that teenage prostitute who is lost in the street world get herself back to been a child and back to education. Please contribute what you can. Our estimate to raise before the 14th of January is £18,000. I trust God that someone will click that bottom now to give whatever you can. Anewlife CEO, Juliet Ibe has been working on the mission field for over 10 years. She has a good record and has influence the lives of over 250,000 Women and youths worldwide giving all she has to put a smile on their faces.
