Help Sue have safe housing and treatment for MCS, Chronic Fatigue, and IBS. Join her friends and family to raise funds for a healing year. My dear friend Sue has been struggling with a complex array of health problems that make the daily tasks of life very hard to manage. Sue spends most of her time in pain, fighting exhaustion, and avoiding the very things she loves because she might be exposed to chemicals in the process, which leave her feeling sick and exhausted and needing to rest and detox for days. Because of a genetic liver abnormality (only recently documented through testing) that impairs her liver’s ability to remove toxins from the body, she has experienced years of slow progressing health problems such as increasing food sensitivities/allergies, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), and Multiple Chemical Sensitivities (MCS). In the past two years due to illness and toxic chemical exposures things have reached a crisis point and she has been unable to work and has lost her income, health insurance, and her home. In order to treat her conditions and allow Sue a chance at becoming healthy again, she needs help with the following: safe housing where she can avoid exposure to chemicals; money to cover medical expenses, treatment, and further testing; reliable transportation to appointments; and funds to cover daily living expenses while she pursues federal disability and/or recovers sufficiently to return to work.  Receiving help to meet these needs means so much to her and helps reduce stress (which can exacerbate symptoms), giving her a chance to heal. My hope is that this call out to compassionate, caring people like you will allow us to raise the funds to help her on her way towards recovery. Sue’s Story
