Safe haven for kids of all abilities

We Rock the Spectrum is a sensory kids gym for ALL kids of ALL abilities. The mission of this gym is to provide all children, with any ability or disability, a place they can build friendships, keep active and learn to use their energy in their bodies in a productive environment. Whether a child has special needs or is developmentally typical, each child is welcome in the gym. We Rock the Spectrum offers all the equipment and resources essential for kids on the spectrum and just good old-fashion fun for developmentally typical kids.

What makes We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gym special? It’s our ability to offer the community a safe location for sensory stimulation but also a place to play and engage with other children. Great care was taken to avoid any possible sensory overload. Everything was designed to enhance and improve both fine and gross motor skills, strengthen coordination, and teach crucial communication skills and social interaction. It is not just a great place for kids to come and play. We also provide support for the families, by making available a place for families of special needs kids in the community area to go that otherwise may have no other place to take their kids.

The main struggle with indoor play facilities is seasonal up and downs. We are usually slow in the summer and early Fall months. We need to stay in business to help the hundreds of families in the area who have no other inclusive place to take their kids. Yet, we also have to pay our high rent and bills to stay open.
