Sometimes we are blessed with a once in a lifetime kind of partnership with an animal, and we do anything we can to honor, appreciate, and preserve that trust and bond. I was blessed by a horse, a horse nobody wanted and was destined fir slaughter. Horse 436 was on a cold, terrifying feedlot  awaiting transport to slaughter when I found him andpaid above market price to save him. He was completely wild, 2 yrs old and never touched by human hands. Duringhis ttransport he sustained an eye injury causing  permanent  scaring and damage to one eye, somehow the scared, hurt little horse decided to trust me, and so our journey began...

Over the years, we grew together, and so did his his vet bills. His eye required regular treatment, monitoring, and evaluation by specialists. Having moved south, his body had difficulty adjusting to the climate and lost its ability to sweat. we did months if costly acupuncture treatments and he is now abke to sweat with the help of life long supportive supplements. He had a great fear of men, no doubt frim memories of his round up, castration, and shipping, and we have had to diligently train him to accept handling by men. Through all these hurdles we continued to bond, but my debt grew. Then we were dealt a terrible card, he sustained a pasture injury, he fractured his coffin bone, torme cartilage  in his fetlock, and chipped his pasturn. After thousands in vet bills, over a year if recovery, thousands more in continuing supplements, and one bankruptcy later....we still have each other...but now we need help.

we are moving out if state, to a property where he can live with me, no more boarding farms, inconsistent handling, or unsafe pastures....only problem us we need a few things. Safe fencing, shelter, grass seed suitable for pasture, training in trailers to ensure a safe shipment, and the means to hire a trailer to move him. I would do anything for boy Tybalt, he is my world, and I have driven myself into financial ruin in the past for his well being, and I know now when to ask for help. once we are settled I will better be able to afford his continued care at home, forever
