Sabrina’s Treatment Fund

Hi my name is Sabrina. I am 18 years old and want you to help me get the treatment I need to get better and be a normal kid. Two years ago I was a junior in high school. It was August 18th and I was marching a show at the football game, when everything came crashing down. I had extreme body pain unlike I ever knew, I had a butterfly rash that would not go away, and I couldn't think straight. After many hospital visits with infectious disease, they diagnosed me with Entero Virus. A virus that had killed over 100 people in 2014 alone and paralyzed many. But as years passed, I still had the body pain and along with it came a miserable headache, depression, and anxiety. My headaches caused me to miss a whole semester of school, postpone college, miss band and other events I was going to attend. I lost all of my friends except one. My family never understood as much as they tried even though they have stood by me the entire time. After many medicines that failed to work and many doctors with blood tests, I finally found an enviromental group called COEM. They did several tests and diagnosed my real issues including Mold Toxicity, Hormone Imbalance, and Heavy Metal Poisoning. I have been in treatment for months, but it does not seem to go by quick enough. Along with time went thousands of dollars. Although the facility helps with the main illnesses, I can not afford a retreat facility known as Brookhaven Retreat in Tennessee that is not covered by insurance for mental health issues, such as depression and anxiety, that I have gotten since I grew ill. The sooner I can get to the facility, the quicker I can find myself again and find the real me that I so long to be again. I miss my friends, the understanding of family and professors, and the laughter I used to share and make for others. I would be oh so grateful for any of you to donate even a penny so I can continue my life like you have yours. If you ever went through an illness that messed with your life, I hope you understand the struggle, and if you haven't, I hope you never do. I have since become a stronger person, but I know I will never get back the precious time I lost. If you help me raise money, I will be forever grateful. Thank you.
