Campaign Story
In our lives some of us may suffer emotional traumas difficulties and
fears, that we may find difficult to talk to others about. It can
sometimes be hard to confide in those closest to us for fear of being
judged, not being believed or understood, or we do not want to worry
other people. Some may feel that they simply do not have anyone to turn
to or to gain support from. Depression and anxiety may strike for no
obvious reason and this may lead to feelings of isolation and despair.
Saathi Helpline will enable the caller to talk over his/her feelings with a helpline worker who offers non-judgmental, caring, empathic support. The helpline worker will work with the caller to encourage greater understanding and awareness of the caller’s issues and to help the caller develop more positive coping strategies.
