Campaign Story
We are the South Africa Junior Club Rowers Club Association (SAJCRA) representing clubs all over South Africa. We are products of our clubs’ rowing development programmes and over the last few years we have become more and more competitive. At the recent SA Schools and SA Senior Championships we won a number of gold, silver and bronze medals. We also competed in an international rowing regatta in 2018 in Harare, Zimbabwe, and we came back with many medals.
This year we had a high-performance training camp in September at Roodeplaat Dam, Pretoria. During the camp, crews were selected to compete at the SA Schools Boat Race in Port Alfred in December. We are training VERY hard to go to SA Boat Race. But many of our rowers cannot afford the costs. It will cost at least R5200pp which go toward transport, accommodation, meals and coaching for 5 days.
Please help us to raise enough money so that each rower can afford to participate.
If you want to give money to a specific rower or club, please mention the rower’s name or club name in your in our comments
Thank you so so much for your support!!!
