SA Grand Champion funding

I am Franky Lekas, mother to Dirja Lekas who has just won the SA jnr Grand Champion title at the South African championships of Performing Arts. She won Vocal Grand Champion and then overall Grand Champion on 6 April 2019. The 15 year old is not new to performing and has done so on KKNK, Expresso TV, Grand West Arena, endless won competitions, but this is her one chance to go where it really matters. She won her trip to Los Angeles in July from 7th to 24th and are obligated to go.

I also participated as we had a goal as mom and daughter - if either of us wins, then one will have to make a plan for the other one. I will never be able to send my daughter to Hollywood without me and she will surely not go. I am not asking just to tag along - I am also the senior division overall trophy winner and sang in 8 categories of which I won every single one. I will be going as a proud member of the SA Team, but first and foremost, for my daughter.

I am a single mom with an unbelievable talent and would do my utmost to see this happen for her.
