Dear supporters,

Firstly, heartfelt thanks to all of you, who supported our fundraiser so far. You are our heroes!

Sadly, this campaign had an excellent start but stalled in a week or so and it is dragging painfully slow. It turned to a fundraiser for cat food and vet bills for for the 3 months from 15 July - to 15 September. Its target will cover the absolute minimum we need to run successfully our rescue. We must reach it, if we are to continue to rescue cats in distress.

Please, continue to support us. The homeless cats have only you and us in this hostile and cruel to them world. Please, watch: HUNGER

During the past four months we were exceptionally busy. In Bulgaria the ongoing, unprecedented Covid-19 crises intensified the dumping of unwanted pets on the streets because many people lost their jobs and found it impossible to take care of their cats and dogs. We are constantly inundated with calls and emails about animals in distress.

We try to help as many as we can. One of our most heartbreaking recent cases is the rescue of four baby kittens. They were abandoned in the most dangerous place one can imagine - the busiest street of Nesebar resort town. These sweet darlings had no chance to survive! You can see it with your own eyes here: BABY- KITTENS IN IMMINENT DANGER!

The darlings were scared, very hungry and sick. We treated and nursed them back to health. They blossomed under our care! You could follow their progress here: FOUR BABY KITTENS DUMPED ON A BUSY ROAD. Another such case is baby kitten MEL, now adopted!

We also organized volunteers in few towns in order to feed as many strays as possible. But our supplies are very low at the moment and we need to place an urgent order for food. This is their lifeline. When their tummies are full, they have energy to cope with the street life's misery. Let's not take away that little comfort from them and from our 70 rescues in our foster homes. And we have ongoing vet bills for castrations, vaccinations and treatment: OUR NESEBAR KITTIES' VET APPOINTMENT and GLORIA, OUR DISABLED SWEETHEART, who's chronic rhinitis and stomatitis flares up from time to time.
