Hospital expense assistance for Baby Rylle Matthew

We are setting up this campaign to ask for assistance to our baby’s hospital expenses. His name is Rylle Matthew A. Belen and he was born last March 22, 2020.

My wife Lorelei Ander had to be rushed to the hospital and gave birth prematurely to our baby. Due to the lockdown & the urgency of the situation, we had no choice but to bring her to the nearest healthcare facility which is the City Of General Trias Doctors Medical Center at that time. She needed to undergo an emergency caesarian operation due to prematurity at 34 weeks (8.5 months).

Sadly, Rylle Matthew developed several complications and infections brought about by his premature birth at 34 weeks. He was indeed a strong one initially with a loud cry. He was observed and stabilized at the NICU, after more than 24 hours, he cannot tolerate oxygen via nasal cannula or CPAP, thus, he was intubated.

Since his birth, we are doing everything to sustain his needs, supplies, medications, laboratories, xrays and 2d echos. Blood transfusion is done also from time to time due to thrombocytopenia because his platelets went down to 20 when the normal is 150 and above.

Thank God after 2 months in the hospital, his health condition improved a lot, in fact as as soon as the bill is paid off, he can be discharged immediately. Unfortunately, running bill has reached to more than Php500,000 to date and counting. We ask for your generosity as the medications and daily expenses continue to pile up every single day.
