Ryan Sual’s Medical Financial Assistance from a Motorcycle Accident

Update posted by Jed Sual On Jul 27, 2016

Friends, Families, & Relatives

It's been a week since Ryan got admitted to the hospital. He is now moved to a private room to continue recuperation with new bandages. I was informed this morning that he was in agony & shouting so loud when his plasters were being changed. I can't imagine how painful can that be and his neighbours must be feeling the same whereas the whole floor can hear him.

For all the people who came by the hospital, supported by looking after him while he's recovering, prayed for his successful surgery and donated for my brother's medical assistance through the fundraising campaign.

I may or may not know you, but definitely, God knows you for helping us surpass this predicament. We thank you so much that we don't know how to repay the gratitude we received.

He's lying there, his face like they had been before. His situation stabbed her heart like a great knife; and her face is clean and happy trying to stay strong and positive. Yet her arms somehow did not ache to hold him like her heart told her they should.

Get well soon brother...😔

Good Morning Everybody,

We feel relieved on how the recovery progress goes. Ryan can talk now but only for a while. After all the incident, the 7hr operation and 2 days in ICU for observation, he still manage to jokingly tell my mother, "nauuhaw ako, pahingi Red Horse" (I'm thirsty, give me some Red Horse Beer). But when he was asked if knows his parents, brother, sister or even his own family, he can only remember the name of his parents, brother and sister but not his family which is a bit saddening.

"magandang gabi po.. magandang balita po,nkkpagsalita npo c ryan at nkakadilat n hndi lng po sya gaano nkakakilala, salamat po ky lord sa patuloy n paggabay prin s pag galing ni ryan, sana ay magtuloy tuloy npo ang recovery nya.salamat po sa mga tulong at dasal nyo, ganun p man handa prin po kmi tumanggap ng tulong nyo at magiintay po kami s abot ng inyong makakaya..maraming salamat po." -Ryan's wife Rufa

(Good evening everyone.. good news, ryan can talk now and he can open his eyes but can't recognise people that much, thanks to God for the continuous guidance on ryan's recovery,I hope for his continuous recovery. Thank you for all the support and prayers, and we welcome your donation at any amount. Thank you very much)

I advise my mother to tell Ryan to hurry up his recovery so he can join his pregnant wife and 2 kids. It's been almost a week that my nephew's can't join their father because of their studies.

I'm 3hrs and 40mins (according to google maps) away from my brother Ryan so the only thing a can do is to reach out to colleagues, friends, families and relative through social media. I sincerely appreciate the supports, donations and prayers coming from you all.

As of 8:40am this morning, he's trying to speak and showing progress to his recovery. Mother told us he's trying to respond whenever anyone talks to him. Ryan told Janine (our youngest sister), "kumutan mo ako" (cover me with blanket) then he closed his eyes and sleep.

We're happy to see he's fast recovering and thank you for your continuous support and prayers

The Operation took 7hrs and visitors are not allowed after Ryan was transferred to the ICU for recovery. Picture was taken around 5pm the next day by my sister while his pregnant Wife is working to earn for the running bill.

My father, mother and sister are trying to keep calm and do whatever they can to help out like hospital paper works, doctors needs, & etc.

Me and my family along with my friends are trying to expand our reach to people who can help us.

The operation took 7hrs and it is successful thanks to your continuous prayers. Ryan is now resting in the ICU while his pregnant wife and my mother are still finding ways to meet ends. My father is still emotional and can’t stop crying whenever he’s alone. “Successful po ang operation ni Kuya Abe Sual but we still need prayers para sa mas lalong mapabilis ang paggaling niya.  Nagpapasalamat na din po ako sa mga nakapagabot n ng kanilang tulong pati na din po sa mga darting pa. Maraming salamat po.”

The doctor made an update that there’s a 50-50 recovery chance due to Ryan’s brain inflammation. He suggested that we bring Ryan to St. Lukes for surgery. Based on what we’ve read, the surgery is needed to give room for the swelling brain. Once the inflammation subsides, Ryan could recover faster. We’re continuously seeking for your help and prayers.

“In times of trouble, may the LORD answer your cry. May the name of the God of Jacob keep you safe from all harm. May he send you help from his sanctuary and strengthen you from Jerusalem. May he remember all your gifts and look favorably on your burnt offerings. Interlude May he grant your heart’s desires and make all your plans succeed. May we shout for joy when we hear of your victory and raise a victory banner in the name of our God. May the LORD answer all your prayers. Now I know that the LORD rescues his anointed king. He will answer him from his holy heaven and rescue him by his great power. Some nations boast of their chariots and horses, but we boast in the name of the LORD our God. Those nations will fall down and collapse, but we will rise up and stand firm. Give victory to our king, O LORD! Answer our cry for help.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭20:1-9‬ ‭NLT‬‬
