RLWG is a Tool for human rights of women and girls. We are seeking for fund to amplify the courageous work of women who are building social movements and challenging the status quo.

Women tend to live in deplorable conditions; lacking the most basic needs and being shunned by the very communities expected to support them. Ignoring the needs of these women would be perpetuating the vicious cycle of poverty. These women and girls if not supported will most likely become a burden to society. It is highly possible that such women and girls will turn to socially unaccepted means of survival. It’s thus important that these women receive physical and emotional support so that they are able to develop well and make meaningful contribution to the community.

RLWG intends to reach out to women and girls living in areas affected by conflict and HIV/Aids. The focus will be on women and vulnerable girl child in Kiryandongo, Bweyale were the majority of the populations are IDPs and Refugees from Northern Uganda and South Sudan.

The primary beneficiaries of this project will be women headed households living in and around Kiryandongo Refugee settlement and people affected by HIV/Aids. The secondary beneficiaries will be other women who are living in vulnerable conditions. Also the children and men in the community around them will benefit from this fund
