Ruth is my sister who lives in Washington state.  Her son has recently become ill and is in the ICU in Tacoma. He has two blood infections, both his kidneys gave out at one point and his liver has stopped working altogether. He is slowly improving but has a long road ahead. His healthcare is covered, but my sister Ruth has been by his side day and night with very little funds for meals and gas money to get to her home and back to the hospital. I am doing this on my own, without her consent because it breaks my heart that I am not close enough to bring her some breakfast or lunch each day. All I am asking for is a few dollars from some of my friends to sustain her while her son fights for his life. I know most or all of my friends have it in them to help. Thank you so much.
