Running with the Beagles Campaign

Hello, my name is Lorne Durnford. I've been a Beagle Paw owner since August 2012 when I was introduced to my lovely girl Bella. The Beagle Paws team were so helpful on finding the right dog for me because I felt that another dog in the household, I own a Golden-Doodle, would make the house more exciting. It was always one of my dreams to rescue a dog and Beagle Paws made that dream come true. A few months go by and I was browsing on the Beagle Paws website and I noticed that this little beagle paw dog named Jack was looking for his forever home. Jack was a special case as he had some behavioural issues. I work with behaviours for a living and I felt that this little guy was just misunderstood so I took him in. He is a handful but he is doing great and has improved so much since he became a member of our pack. When the Aviva Community Fund came about a few months back, I got as many people to vote for Beagle Paws in order to get the grand prize and get the money they deserve so they can start construction for the New Beagle Paws Shelter. Just like many people in the Beagle community, I was upset that they didn't win the grand prize, but happy that they received $5000 and began to start the Building for Beagles Campaign. This is where I come in. As much as I would like to adopt all the beagles from beagle paws, I just don't have the space. Then this idea came to me. I will start my own Campaign to raise funds towards the building of the new shelter. I wanted my idea to be unique and a bit different. As I'm an active runner coming back from a major injury, I came up with the Running with Beagles Fundraising Campaign. The idea is that my team and I are looking for sponsors to sponsor us for this years Tely 10 race, all the money raised will go towards the Building for Beagles Campaign. As well, whatever time that I come in, for example: 90 minutes, I will donate 90 dollars of my own money. So Starting on April 7^th until July 26^th, My team and I will be looking for donations. I hope you can help us and help Beagle Paws achieve their dream.
