Running Pregnant for My Baby’s Future

Carlos and I are currently pregnant with our first child (due date December 21). We just found out that it's a girl! Although, Carlos really wanted a boy, we are already so in love with her and so excited to meet her. Her name will be Madisyn.

I will be running my first 5k run on November 1st to raise money for Madisyn's education fund. I will be over 8 months prego at that time so this wont be an easy feat, but I am determined to conquer this goal. I am not just doing this for my health (although this is an awesome side effect) - but I am primarily doing this for my baby's wellbeing and, more importantly, her future.

We want baby Madisyn to be the best she can be - to go to college and get a good education. This is why this run is so important to us. For every kilometer that Madisyn and I complete, we ask that you donate $3 for a total of $15 for completing the 5k. But really no amount is too small - any and everything is greatly appreciated by baby and me :)! They say it takes a village to raise a child.
