Running New York Marathon for Famagusta Autism Support

On the 3rd of November Trish Browne will participate in the New York City Marathon and is raising money for a very important local charity! Please make a donation and help us to make a difference in the lives of people affected by Autism! :-)

*Autism Support Famagusta was founded in 2013 by parents, families and friends of individuals on the AUTISM SPECTRUM.

*Our mission is to create AWARENESS and offer SUPPORT to the families and the individuals on the spectrum in the Famagusta district.

*We are a charity that operates only with funds raised by Events and Donations.

*Training volunteers/staff to have specialised knowledge of working with autism.

*We organise specialised Seminars both for parents and teachers.

*We offered specialised group therapy to new cases on the spectrum.

*For 5 years we have held a summer day Centre during the month of August when all schools are closed.

*We support families by offering services in their own homes for respite.

The Launch of the smile project in Paralimni.

A Day-Centre for over 21 year olds that graduate from government schools but have no other options open to them.

OUR ULTIMATE GOALS

To set up a specialised Day-Centre for both children and young adults.

To provide live-in homes for those whose parents are unable to care for them.

To build an autism friendly holiday village for parents from around the island and overseas to be able to enjoy a family holiday.
