I will running the Comrades Marathon on 10 June to raise funds and awareness for the program Three2Six. The program was initialized by Sacred Heart School, who make their premisis available in the afternoons after school for lessons to be provided to refugee children. This allows them to bridge the gap to entering public school. The program provides them with stationary, textbooks, a hot meal and transport. Outings are also organised when funds are available. The program employs refugee teachers to provide them with employment, income and opportunities to enter the South African teaching system.

I am inspired by my MOM, who generously donates to this program monthly and is passionate about helping people in need; and my DAD who is running his 46th Comrades this year to break the record of consecutive runs!
