On Saturday November 10 I will be running 55km (34.2mi) along the Arakawa & Iruma Rivers for abused and neglected kids in care.
The charity Mirai no Mori is a not-for-profit organization that creates life-changing outdoor programs for these children, supporting their growth into happy and successful young adults.
I participated last year in the half distance 27km, after being invited by my colleague James Davis and I found the event to be a very positive way to give back to the community.
This year I am aiming for the full 55km distance.

Would you please consider sponsoring me?

Also, if you are interested in running, you can Visit KIWL website for full run details:

  • recently I often see sad news related to abused and neglected kids even in Japan and the number of those kids are getting increased. I'm sure that this charity event is meaningful not only for kids but also for everyone to rethink what we can do. I cannot join the event this time, but I'm very happy to join next time!!
