Run Fatboy Run

Help me raise £500 to give my special nephew a new P-pod chair

I am going to attempt the Great South Run.  I have been saying 'I am going to do it'  since I was 18 but now I am old, unfit and fat, I really am :-)  It is 10 miles and currently I can do no more than half a mile without crying.  So I needed some top class motivation .........

My nephew, Sam, was born with a rare chromosome disorder called 1p36 del syndrome.  He is profoundly disabled and will never walk or talk.  He has lots of health issues and my sister and our family live with the knowledge that he probably won't live to adulthood.  Despite all that he is a happy chap who enjoys things that lots of other 6 year olds do; swimming, cinema & music.  He likes chilling out and watching TV, just like his Uncle :-) He has a special bean bag chair that my sister bought him three years ago called a P-Pod. It is perfect for relaxing in after being a wheelchair all day.  He has got too big for it though and a new one will cost £500.  This is the motivation for my run :-)
