Run 4 Pink Park — Fighting breast cancer in Thailand

Fund Pink Park Village -- help make a difference to women living with breast cancer

I'm entering the 10.5km run as part of the August 12th Half Marathon Bangkok 2016 to raise money for the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer Foundation http://www.qscbcfoundation.org/

The Foundation was set up by Dr Kris and Khunying Finola Chatamra, who also set up the centre which has been providing free screening and treatment to Thai women.

The Foundation is now tasking itself with building Pink Park Village, a 500million baht hospice on the outskirts of Bangkok. It will be the first centre of its kind in Thailand and will initially focus on providing palliative care. Currently women with terminal breast cancer who cannot afford to pay for private care are sent home and often spend their last days in terrible pain.
