Campaign Story
Our Bulgarian friend, Rumen, has been diagnosed with a brain tumour. His operation to remove it will cost over 1500 GBP (including after care) and he doesn't have the money. We would love to help him but we don't have that kind of cash (we only live on my husband's state pension). Rumen is a lovely man and has worked all his life but is too young to receive a government pension at the moment so funds are low/non existent.

Visiting Rumen tomorrow with surprise news for him!
Update posted by adele hillier at 09:26 amWe will be going to see Rumen tomorrow to find out when he goes to the hospital for his appointment. He is currently in a care home. We will tell him that generous friends, family and strangers have raised funds for his op as he doesn't yet know! Pictures/video will
