In 2014, my dad, Ruel Gresula, had been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome- a rare but serious autoimmune disorder that lead to paralysis. During this 1st attack, his medication and hospitalization bills cost 1 million pesos(18 997 USD), which we are still paying up until now. We maxed out all our financial resources and had seek assistance to multiple NGOs and politicians to sustain him. Our house is still under mortgage on the hospital that he had been confined as a partial payment.
He was revived and was able to work for sometime until the 2nd attack on January 10,2019. Right now, he is again paralyze and is still in the Intensive Care Unit(ICU). The very medicine needed to revive his nerves costs 492,000 pesos(9,347 USD) which we could never afford. Unless we are able to provide the cash needed for medication, he will remain in the ICU, in which the daily cost of stay is at most 50,000 pesos(945 USD) per day.
Please, I implore you to help us raise enough money to save my father. Any amount will definitely be substantial to his survival.
