Hi everyone, my name is Rudolph Simons

I'm writing this post to ask for your help and support. As some of you may know, I suffered a t4 spinal cord injury in a bike accident last year. This means that I have lost the use of my legs and some of my torso muscles. I have been hospitalized since May 2022 and have undergone various surgeries and treatments to stabilize my condition and prevent complications. It has been a long and difficult journey, but I'm doing my best to overcome the challenges and stay positive.

I was employed at Mid Ocean Club, but I can no longer work because of my disability. I have been living in the hospital since my accident and am due to be released soon. Mid Ocean Resort Club have been extremely generous in keeping me on as long as they can.

Unfortunately, my major medical insurance is ending soon and I'm facing a lot of expenses that I can't afford on my own. I am in need of an affordable and accessible place to live that can accommodate my wheelchair and other equipment. I also need to buy specialized medical equipment such as a pressure relief mattress, a shower chair, a lift system, and a power wheelchair. Daily medical supplies such as catheters, gloves, pads, and creams will be required along with ongoing rehab therapy to maintain my health and function. A full-time caregiver will be needed to assist with my daily activities and personal care.
