My main focus recently has been finishing my book, Hitching For Hope. It’s been a lot of work but an enjoyable process - and a good lesson in focus and discipline! Just one more push and it'll be readyto rock. The book tells the story of my hitchhiking adventures around Ireland and acts as a kind of social history of these times. It is also part memoir and a manifesto for people power, hope and community solutions.

I'm excited about getting it published in 2016 and doing a speaking tour of schools, colleges and community venues. I'll also be launching a new podcast show featuring interviews with inspirational voices for change.

I now need some patrons and sponsors to help this over the line. For those who want it, I'll be listing your name (or that of your org or group) in the thank you credits of the book, on my website, and inmentions to over 10,000 people on social media.

You can chip in via 'donate now' button at the top right of this page or via PayPal (recipient = [email protected]).

You can remain anonymous if you prefer. This only takes a minute. Feelfree to email me for more info about how you can help. If contributing, please leave me your details of social media accounts so I can promote.

A huge thanks to all who have already supported. Any questions, pop me an email to [email protected].

With deepest gratitude for your support,

Ruairí
