Las to życie - Forest is life!

We, "Fundacja Perspektywa", are a small non-profit in North-West Poland, and we have planted the first Miyawaki or "Tiny Forest" in Poland, with 4500 native trees of 36 different species in our little village Rozwarowo, together with 200 volunteers from near and far. We created a permaculture garden for the neighborhood, organize workshops, concerts and intercultural and social events in our rural region, where the big city life is out of reach.

For the future, we want to create a Treeducation center for ecological education and comunity building through events and panels about biodiversity, climate change, ecological transition and transcultural exchange.

Help Us Cultivate a Sustainable Future in Rural Poland!

Our organization, nestled in the very small and beautiful village of Rozwarowo in North-West-Poland, is committed to creating a sustainable future for our community and beyond. We believe in the power of grassroots initiatives and have already embarked on various projects that promote ecological awareness and foster positive change.

We planted and organized the first Miywaki Tiny Forest in Poland with the help of 200 dedicated volunteers from many different countries. Tiny Forests are more than just trees. This amazing phenomenon helps mitigate the impacts of climate change, provides nature-rich habitat patches to support urban wildlife and reconnects people with nature, enhancing the understanding of natural processes and wellbeing. We planted our Tiny Forest in the village to serve as a living example for future projects in urban areas in Poland.

Another proud achievement is the establishment of a permaculture garden, which serves as a living example of sustainable agricultural practices. By showcasing the beauty and benefits of permaculture, we wanto to inspire local farmers and residents to adopt these methods, reducing the use of chemicals and restoring the health of our environment.

We also organize events providing a platform for cultural exchange and foster a sense of unity among people from diverse backgrounds. By celebrating our differences, we create a community that embraces diversity and works towards a harmonious coexistence.

Our meadow and barn have become vibrant hubs of cultural activities, hosting concerts, film presentations, and workshops on topics such as agroecology, yoga, and women's empowerment. Through these events, we foster education, creativity, and dialogue, empowering individuals to take action and contribute to the ecological transition.

Now, we need your generous support to take our efforts to the next level. We are reaching out to you, our global community, for support. Your generous donations will help us transform our barn into a fully equipped, solar powered event venue, enabling us to host meetings and gatherings for organisations and individual partners engaged in ecological transition and cultural transformation. By creating a dedicated space for collaboration and knowledge sharing, we can strengthen the movement for a sustainable future.

We believe that the change and transition we need as humanity, has to start, not only from the big urban centers, but from the rural area. It is here, on the countryside, where our food is made, where biodiversity needs to be protected, where the climate crisis has to be encountered with joint intelligence and measures. We want to unite people where nature can be felt, seen, heard and smelled, in order to discuss and implement measures to protect our planet.

That’s why we need a place where we can gather, debate and search, together, the solutions we need. We need to transform our barn into a real event venue:

The Treeducation Center!

While we receive funding for singular events, our mission calls for additional financial support. Your donation will go directly towards the ecological restoration of our barn, equipping it to receive guests and eents throughout the whole year, for the purchase of equipment, and the facilitation of educational workshops and events. Together, we can establish our organization as a crucial player in promoting ecological practices in rural Poland.

Join us on this transformative journey towards a greener, more sustainable future. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a significant impact. Together, we can build a better world, one step at a time. Thank you for your support!

We apply for and receive public funding, but we also rely very much on donations from our partners and supporters. Our goal is to bring positive change and ecological transition to the Polish countryside.

Here are some of the projects we already realized:

- Once more, we gathered volunteers and interested friends, in order to mulch the Tiny Forest for better development, offering delicious vegetarian food for everyone, crowning the day with a Salsa concert in the culture barn, with Chilean guitar player Pablo Camus and friends from Cuba and Colombia and a community campfire in the sunset

- We enhanced the permaculture garden under the guidance of Joanna Bojczewska from "Ekopoletko"

- participation in an ecological summit in Szczecin

- visit of the Marshal of the West-Pommern-Voivodship

- Continuous maintenance of the Tiny Forest: mulching, weeding etc.

- Installation of two large information panels at the entrance of the Tiny Forest

- Dying workshop with natural colors, made of plant extracts, with Aleksandra Bystry from "Dzikie Barwy" in collaboration with the Culture House of Kamien Pomorski

- We planted the first Tiny Forest in Poland! Thanks to regional EU funding and with an enormous amount of personal input from supporters and volunteers from Poland and Germany, the help of Miya e.V. from Eberswalde, plus helping hands from many other countries, we planted 4.500 trees on 1.500 square meters during three weekends in autumn.

- We installed a permaculture garden under the guidance of Monika Podsiadla, together with neighbors and guests from the surrounding villages and Kamien Pomorski (regional funding)

- Participation in various street events in Kamien Pomorski

- Film presentations and concerts in our culture barn

- Klezmer concert and theme event for harvest/Jewish New Year and start of the autumn with guest speaker from a local cidre manufacture and making together a pressed apple juice

- We held a Mexican weekend with painting and handicraft workshops, an art exhibition about Frida Kahlo, a movie night and folkloristic dance performance with "Monarka Warszawa"

- Documentary night and garden concert with Brazilian guitar duo "Guanduo"

- Regular Callanetics workshops (partly online, due to Covid regulations)

- Our first event in the culture barn: A Brazilian weekend with live performance of the Brazilian Forro band "Fuxico" on stage, dance, Brazilian food and a handicraft workshop

- A timid but successful start: two Yoga classes with Dorota Gorczakowska

Now we want to take our activities to the next level. The Tiny Forest will serve as example and inspiration for future projects and show the direction: Nature positivity, biodiversity, climate resilience and transcultural cooperation. The barn and the pavillion will host the events we are planning for the future. Please support us increase biodiversity and raise ecological and intercultural awareness in Poland!
