Hey Friends!
Travel is something that has recently taken a foothold in my life as it has opened me to the differences in our world. I truly believe we are only as strong as our weakest neighbor. I have been given this incredible opportunity to do something amazing in South Africa and I just could not pass it up. After being accepted, I knew I had to volunteer, but I can't do it without your help.
What is it that I will be doing in South Africa, you ask? Great question.
Edventure is a volunteer-run international organization where I will have the chance to help others in a local community. I will be developing global leadership as I help with community construction projects and education fortification. This will be an unforgettable experience that I am so incredibly excited for!
Why South Africa? Another fantastic question.
South Africa has such a rich, diverse and welcoming culture that it has always been in the back of my mind as a destination. The people there, however, lack many essential resources and I hope to be able to help thier community flourish. My group will be teaching in schools and orphanages, bringing our gift of love and returning with so much more.
What can you do to help? I love your questions :)
This experience does come with a price and airfare that I aspire to raise through all types of fundraising before my departure this coming August. This program is something that I feel very passionate about and I want to see myself follow through with. If you feel it in your heart to give towards my Edventure, I truly thank you.
