The 50001 Youth Training Trust is a small charity based in Lowestoft, converting a part of the towns maritime heritage. The Brooke Marine built Lifeboat "Rotary Service" to become a youth training vessel based from the port.
The coronavirus crisis at the moment has caused unprecedented strain on the finances of many small charities, and the 50001 Youth Training Trust is no different. Unfortunately many of the trust's face to face fundraising opportunities have been cancelled.
The trusts aims are to work alongside other voluntary organisations or directly with the end user to offer the chance for young & disadvantaged individuals to come on board as a volunteer, or just to take short training courses with qualified instructors, empowering them with the qualifications and experience to follow a career in the maritime sector.
To make this possible we need your help.
If you'd like to learn more about the trust please get in touch or view our website/ social medial pages...
Thank you,
Chris, Julian, Scott & the Volunteers of the 50001 Youth Training Trust. www.50001.org.uk

This was the first boat I served on with the Rnli at Dover. A great boat and glad to donate and help out such a good cause . 25 years later I’m still serving with the Rnli at Chiswick and Whitstable
