Campaign Story
On Friday, January 17th my pup, Roscoe, was accidentally ran over in our driveway by a close friend of ours. He is alive and fighting at the Animal Emergency & Specialty Center of Knoxville on Kingston Pike, but in the accident he suffered a completely broken left-rear leg and had his tail separated from his spine. That is pressing against an organ in his body making him unable to control his bowel movements. The surgery, which we cannot afford, will repair his leg via pins in his bones as well as completely amputate his tail. The removing of his tail will hopefully allow his nerves to heal and let him control his bowel movements again after about a month of rehabilitation.
The Current situation:
At first, he was not fighting for much. He was freshly injured and we had to leave him at the hospital. Without his family at his side he started to give up, but after we visited him yesterday (the 18th of January) he has begun to eat again and is fighting! We do not want to give up on our boy. He is fighting and we will fight with him through this. Any help you can give us will be immensely appreciated and go straight towards paying off the surgery for Roscoe. The Surgery will be finished by Monday, January 20th but paying it off will take a long time. We hope for understanding in this terrible situation. If you cannot send money, prayers and positive thoughts are always welcome in our Inbox! We will take anything we can get. Sadly, we have no way of repaying or rewarding you if you do donate, just our forever-gratitude for helping us save our pupper. Thank you, all.
