Campaign Story
My village in Pakistan, Wara Phaphra ( https://goo.gl/maps/pYKvrbBuVZ1fifFD8 ) has a community-owned funeral compound with an area of approximately 5000 sq. feet. Its an open-air enclosure and doesn't have a roof. It becomes a problem if it rains, and funeral can't be conducted. Also in summers, it can easily go to 40+ Celsius and the heat is unbearable.
The village council has discussed the project details and got estimates from the mason to build the roof. I am tasked with collection of funds.
The village council is a group of people from village, to look after the community projects, on volunteer basis. The project is fully managed by the community.
