Romanian Vaccination Project

As many of you know, Frances and Rachael have been raising money since 2012 with a vision to help some of the poorest children in Romania. 

Rachael has been working with these children over a number of years and has witnessed first hand the suffering some of them go through. During the harsh winter months, their small inadequate huts do not provide sufficient protection against the cold and many of the children become ill with pneumonia. They then spend long periods in the local hospital, separated from their families and with very little in the way of stimulation. Their development can be seriously affected by this. 

We are raising money to support a plan to begin an annual vaccination project in and around Brasov, Romania. Working in conjunction with the hospital we hope to initially vaccinate 100 children in August 2013 and extend the project from there.
