ROCKAWAY UNITY CENTER

Our organisation focuses on enriching peoples lives & meeting community needs. To do this we have a dedicated team who manage the centre & lead our programmes & services. We have 9 staff & 15 volunteers. We pride ourselves in offering high quality evidence-based programmes & services. We have a number of long term strategic partners who we share resources, expertise & administration support. We welcome over 2,500 people through our doors each week!

We rely entirely on donations and grants. Our staff and team of volunteers works hard to make every dollar go a long way. Gifts and donations helps to support our inclusive and accessible environment where people can come together to connect, learn, interact, contribute and celebrate community well being.

enhancing transformational community services and education opportunities e.g. a water tank for our community garden club
the community campaign for a substantial multi-purpose community centre & public transport hub in Mangere East
the maintenance of our community buses.
