Robofest World Championship

My 11-year old daughter, Izabelle, and her two teammates won the Robofest South African Championship on Saturday 4 March 2017, qualifying them to participate in the Robofest World Championship. The World Championship takes place from 1 to 3 June 2017 in St Pete Beach, Florida. This was such a wonderful and completely unexpected achievement! However, the eventual cost involved just for one of them is about $ 2 000 (depending on the exchange rate). Izabelle's teammates are not in a position to attend the World Championship this year, but luckily it is possible for her to represent the team in Florida. She is extremely excited, but we do not have the money to cover everything. We have set the campaign target at $ 2 000, but any amount would make a huge difference to the potential expenses. All donations or sponsorships, however small, will go toward paying for the following: plane ticket, passport and visa application, registration fee for the championship, accommodation, and meals. Any money received above the target will be used to provide Izabelle with some spending money. All help will be sincerely appreciated, thank you!
