Roaming In Romania

Hello! My name is Kylie, I'm 20 years old, and I'm about to travel abroad for the first time in my life. In April I will be traveling to Romania with International Volunteer HQ to work at a local animal shelter. I am excited to be culturally immersed and I will start to learn a new language, Hungarian. I have recently discovered that learning languages is what I am passionate about. Personally, I believe learning a language outside of your own is important because it creates a new form of understanding and provides connections to individuals you may have never been able to speak with before. Though my volunteer travel program tries to provide the lowest costs they can for travel, it is still somewhat pricey for an independent college student. I would deeply appreciate any financial help or donations, this money will go towards flights and travel insurance!
