Road Trip of a Lifetime Dream

Hi world! I am a 20 year old college student that has the dream of traveling Route 66 in a van from Illinois to California. I'm a small town girl who lives on a farm and has a burning passion for traveling. In the summer of 2018 is when I will begin my journey with a long-distance friend who I have known for years and never get to see. Unfortunately my friend and I have ongoing college debt and are saving every penny we have on the side through our minimum-wage jobs.

"Why should I donate to some random college girls?" Well, we have a goal to explore, create memories, and have as much fun as possible on this road trip and we want to share it with the world through a series of video diaries. I believe exploring the beautiful country around us will be an experience of a lifetime. We need funds to purchase a van we will be traveling in which will be pretty expensive.

It doesn't matter how much you donate; it could even be a nickel! Honestly, the $6000 goal doesn't even have to be met...I am just asking for any help or spare change for a great experience.
