Road to Stem Cell Transplant

Last July 24, 2019, Our then 17 year old daughter, Kelly Chrizelle or most of her friends call her Kelly or KC, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia which was triggered by very high white blood cell count, reaching up to 500,000. She went on intense chemotheraphy procedures which led her to a month-long hospital admission from July 24 to August 23. She continued her scheduled 2 to 2.5 year treatment even after being discharged and managed to monitor her blood count by having a weekly CBC test. At exactly 1 year after, July 24 2020, we were surprised by the results of her CBC as her White Blood Cells went up again to 92,000. According to her Doctor, she had an early relapse during her maintenance phase. The cancer cells are very strong that it needs a more intense protocol and more intense set of chemo drugs. She was again admitted last July 24 and just got discharged last August 28.

Last Monday we were informed by her doctor that Kelly is already a candidate for Stem Cell Transplant. With all the medical expenses for the past year, we have already exhausted all our financial resources. Thanks to the financial, moral and spiritual help from our families and friends.

Kelly has a strong will to survive this unexpected illness and we believe that nothing is impossible that this funding program will come across the hearts that God has chosen to knock on to help.

Any amount if combined together can complete the 2M that we were asked to prepare and make a life saving purpose for a faithful child.
