Road to Rome 2019 (UNIV Congress)

Greetings!

I am Franchesca Regala, a 19 year old AB European Studies Freshman from Manila Philippines. I am blessed to be able to study in Ateneo de Manila University as a scholar.

I have been cordially invited to attend UNIV 2019 which is an annual research Congress in Rome every Holy Week. This year's theme is Getting Down to Business: The Transformative Power of Work.

My submission is entitled “HANAPBUHAY: Respect, Status, and Domestic Work.” I am hoping to be able to present this paper to the panel in Rome as it reflects the plight of OFWs and their families. It also sheds light on a lot of issues regarding Migrant Integration most especially in First World countries.
