Road to Recovery for a Working Mother with 5 Kids

Rhica C. Baisa, 31 years of age, a hard working mother of 5 beautiful kids, a caring and thoughtful sister-in-law, daughter and sister, recently diagnosed with Sepsis that lead to Septic Shock.

A minimum wage earner along with her husband who also works the clock doing buy and sell just so they can make ends meet and provide for their family. After giving birth to their youngest son, she came back to work within weeks afraid to lose income instead of taking a few months of rest.

On that faithful day, she fainted and was rushed to the hospital and was diagnosed that she was suffering from Septic Shock. She underwent numerous tests as well as a couple procedures. . She was in critical condition and the doctors did what they could to make sure that they save her. And praise God they did just that.

She is currently recovering at the University of Santo Tomas Hospital with a ballooning bill and would need all the financial help she can get. Friends and family have tried to ease the financial burden by sharing what they can but it seems it still isn't enough, as aside from the hospital bill, she would still require funding for her continuous medication as well as the possibility of a follow up procedure depending on her recovery as advised by the doctors.

We are humbly asking for any type of financial assistance for the outstanding medical bills as well as for her follow through medication as she walks the road to recovery.
