Road to Recovery

Based in Southern Spain, Valle Verde Animal Rescue is an organisation dedicated to homing the dogs and cats we find abandoned and abused in our local area, and beyond.

The purpose of this site is to raise funds and awareness of the plight of these animals and to reach out for your help in carrying out our mission to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home them.

In order to successfully maintain our rescue centre and educate more people about what we do, we urgently need to rebuild the road leading to our premises ensuring abused and mistreated animals can be brought in quickly and adequately cared for. A single dirt track road in the mountains is the only way our facilities can be accessed at present and this can be hard to navigate in bad weather and for those people with smaller vehicles.

A tarmac road would provide easy access to everyone who needs to use our facilities, and to help our non-profit organisation educate the public and work towards changing attitudes towards animals and cruelty to animals.

The road would need to be completed before this winter and estimated costs are currently 9000 Euros, if just 15 people per day donated 5 euros each before the end of September we could achieve our target and successfully open our doors to more rescued animals and re home.
