Campaign Story
I have been overweight for years and there has not been any underlying medical condtion found. I was even in the military and worked out all the time. I qualify for the lap band procedure based on my BMI but my health insurance will not cover it. They say I don't have a chronic medical condition but they are wrong, I have been depressed for years as a result of being overweight, it even led to me being discharged from the military. I just want to be healthier and feel better about myself.

I will be willing to donate 10% of my next paycheck to the highest pledger's charity of choice.
