We need your urgent help now! NOW!
The Nepali government are going to tear down our beautiful village of Sindhuli if we don't move it before the end of March 2020. In Nepal, we are far behind the rest of the world when it comes to economic growth so here we have been living as farmers for long time. So we don't have the funds needed to move our houses when the Nepali government is coming to construct the big road through our houses and our village.
We are therefore searching for help from you guys to raise some money so that we can move our houses 30 feet (ca. 9 m) backwards so that our families can continue to live here as we have done for ages. The road is of course of importance for us to so the government is doing an important work, so we can't blame them for what they are doing. But we are a country that has not build up a social welfare yet so that's why we are in this situation, and we don't own the land.
Same thing happened in the world cup in Brazil 2014 when bulldozers tear down homes in the poor districts to make room for other things needed for economic growth in the country.
All donations small as big are of importance. And all money will go to reconstruction of the village. We will keep you updated with pictures on Facebook on how the progress goes. So don't worry you are doing something good here. This is our Facebook page so you can see how the progress goes.
And if you are a carpenter or in the industry of construction please don't hesitate to contact us if you can give us help. We can provide you with food and accommodation in return of voluntary work. And of course a lot of hospitality and smiles.
