Campaign Story
On the 7th of October 2016 a tragedy happened at the O'Connell-Maritz home and their house burned to the ground with all their belongings inside. The couple (mom 70 and dad 76) and their younger autistic daughter of 28 lost everything in the fire. Thankfully they are now out of ICU. We are appealing to the public's good heart to help them rise from this tragedy, they need to rebuild their home and get all their every day items, shoes, clothes, dishes, furniture... Can you imagine to wake up one day at 76 and realise that everything is gone, that after years of hard work you have nothing to offer to your family? Scary ha! Let's show them that they are not alone. Please remember, every little bit can go a long way. The clothes on their backs is all they have left. Thanks. God bless
