Campaign Story
Rising Star Child Development School aims to provide mainstream inclusive education for children with special needs such as Autism Spectrum Disorders and ADHD. We have recently acquired a building with a large children's play area. However it needs renovation to become more autism friendly such as having therapy rooms and sensory facilities. The money raised will not only make it functional but will inspire the community to improve how children can be better and more inclusively supported.
The school is based on the premise that every child has a right to an education. It is our responsibility to maximize the academic, social and physical potential of each and every child. It is also our responsibility to provide a nurturing, structured and safe environment in which to learn
Recognizing that children with special learning needs benefit from a multifaceted approach to learning, Rising Sar School can provide each special needs student with an individualized programme addressing Social Emotional Development, Expressive/Receptive Language, Fine/Gross Motor Skills, Self-Help Skills and Cognitive Development. The School adheres to a team-based approach, maintaining continuous and open communication with teachers, therapists, parents and the management.
Our programs highlight an appropriate teacher-student ratio, well-qualified teaching staff, various support services and active mainstream integration. Programs foster each student’s well-being and promote the process of reaching his or her highest potential. Our team is passionate about making a difference everyday to the lives of those affected by Autism.
The money we raise will go to investing in our acquisition to make it not only unique but an inspirational movement to improving how children can be better and more inclusively supported.Your donation will definitely help us to deliver specialised education, therapy and support services for children with ASD and their families.
