Rise Up to Anti-Bullying

"Stick and stones may break my bones, but words would never hurt me", a saying most commonly heard around children in a playground, little do parents know that words is what hurts the most. One of the largest growing problems within the lives of children is bullying itself.

 Let me tell you a little story before I continue, in 6th grade there would always be that common group of kids laughing in a circle at and within that circle would be that little skinny child taking all that punishment for no reason, to be honest that child was me. I would always make excuses to my parents for another chance to stay home, one day would be a stomach ache another sore arm and so on although it would never work. Heading to school with that gut wrenching feeling in the pit of my stomach praying those kids wouldn't be at school today, unfortunately they would always be there. 

Now 5 years later i still would face situations like that until one day i rose up to the bully and held my own making the problem dissapear, and thats what i want to teach to children today, yeah bullies will be everywhere but you have to stay strong and with a little support we can send this message to every child facing this today!
