Rise & Shine 4 Julie!

On Friday, July 6, 2012, our sister and friend Julie Gauby was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon and liver cancers. She is in the throes of one heck of a fight - which is why we are running 'one hill of a race' in her honor. As if her diagnosis wasn't enough, just six weeks prior her ex-husband was also diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Julie has been unable to work since her diagnosis and subsequent surgery to remove tumors. Her family and friends are doing everything we can to help her meet the financial demands that accompany raising 3 amazing children. Julie's kids are Austin - age 20, Caitlin - age 17, and Mason - age 14. Any donation made on this site will go directly to Julie to help her provide for herself and her children.

Jennifer Graening and Megan Cox will be running the 10K at Race 2 the Summit on September 29th, and Jennifer Luchini will be running the 5K (and will need someone to accompany her and hold her hair back while she vomits along the way.) We are choosing to RISE AND SHINE every single day for our dear sister and friend, and hope you will consider making a small donation on her behalf.
